What we collect: nothing
Your quit date, usage estimates, journal entries, craving logs, pledges, and settings are stored only on your device. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party. We operate no server.
No account required
Fumeless works fully without any sign-up or login. Sign in with Apple is optional: if you choose to use it, we receive only the identifier and first name Apple shares, and both are stored only on your device. To enable this, the one-time Apple sign-in token is relayed through a stateless server solely to verify the sign-in and to revoke it when you delete your account. That token is never stored, and none of your quit data, journal, or usage ever passes through it. Deleting your account in Settings revokes the sign-in with Apple and erases all local data.
No tracking
No analytics SDKs, no advertising, no identifiers, no fingerprinting.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see your payment details. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles this data.
Notifications
Milestone and daily check-in notifications are scheduled locally on your device. You can disable them anytime in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings.
Deleting your data
Settings → "Delete all data" permanently erases everything the app stores, instantly, on-device. Deleting the app has the same effect.
Your rights (GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA, APPI, PIPEDA and similar laws)
Because no personal data ever reaches us, there is nothing we could access, sell, share, or export. Access and deletion are entirely in your hands, on your device.
Children
Fumeless is rated 18+ and is intended for adults quitting vaping or smoking.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
